In the past two years, virtually all newly released solar panel products have mentioned the keyword "Power Generation Gain." However, for most people, this is just a number, a concept for comparison.

If we look at it in a concrete way:

In the realm of daily life, one kilowatt-hour of electricity can power a 5-watt LED light bulb for over 200 hours, power a television for about 2 hours, an air conditioner for about 1.5 hours, or a refrigerator for about 36 hours. In agriculture, one kilowatt-hour of electricity can irrigate about 0.14 acres of land, aiding in crop growth. In transportation, one kilowatt-hour of electricity can support an electric vehicle to travel 30 to 40 kilometers.

When applied to the product itself, let's take the example of the Longi Hi-MO X6 Anti-dust module for calculation.

According to the latest empirical data from CPVT, the power generation gain compared to regular modules increases by month, with a maximum monthly gain of 5.08% and a maximum daily gain of 10.18%.

According to data from the testing station built by Longi at its headquarters, during the three months of November, December, and January, the actual power generation of Hi-MO X6 Anti-dust 575W module, averaging 52.2 kWh per month.

This means that one solar panel can power an air conditioner for about 78 hours, or irrigate 7 acres of land, or travel 1500-2000 kilometers.

Next, let's calculate based on the monthly gain of 5.08%. That is, each solar panel can generate about 2.7 kWh more electricity per month than regular modules. Assuming 1 MW commercial solar power station, all constructed with Hi-MO X6 series 575W anti-dust modules, the power station would have at least 1740 modules. This means that the power station generates at least 4698 kWh more electricity per month than similar stations.

4698 kWh, if converted at $0.46 per kilowatt-hour in the UK, is equivalent to saving about $2161 per month compared to other factories. Ignoring changes in electricity costs, that would be $647,082 over 25 years.
